Little Miss Perfect, Faith had it all. The perfect boyfriend, the perfect family with the house on the hill. Then on the day of her wedding, her boyfriend confessed that he is gay and left her humiliated and alone.
She ran off to San Francisco to rebuild her life and has carved a niche for herself as a landscape architect but love has eluded her. Finally she returns home and faces her demons. Levi has had his share of hardships. Coming from an impoverished family he joined the army for no other reason than he couldn't afford college. Now back home and the chief of police he seems to have it all. But he has his own demons.
The Best Man doesn't tread any new ground. It's your typical out of the box contemporary romance. That isn't to say it's not good. I really enjoyed this book...I might even say I loved it. Just don't expect any surprises.
