This book reminded me a little of the bible story of Job. Megan is a successful accountant, she's engaged to a cardiologist, and her father dotes on her. Then out of the blue she discovers something about herself and all the things she rely on start to get stripped away. Through it she finds that those she relied on aren't all that reliable and those she didn't trust are the most trustworthy of all. I quite liked this book. I liked that things were left unresolved, that through all her difficulties the main character though shaken remained strong.
