Four women, all facing very different life challenges, lean on each other for support. Robyn Carr manages to deal with disparate issues (sexual assault, breast cancer, extreme financial distress and a marriage that is on the rocks) seamlessly and still manages to write a book that is positive and hopeful. I know women who have faced or are facing these very issues and I have given this book to more than one of them. Women who are facing some of these challenges should read this book, even if it's for no other reason than to know that other women face the same issues. That isn't to say that others won't enjoy or find value in this book, it's an entertaining read for just about anyone, obviously targeted to women but there are plenty of men who will also enjoy this book.
