3.5 StarsAfter his death, Grace discovers that her husband was unfaithful to her. She travels to the scene of his infidelity, a rustic lake front cabin, searching for evidence of his betrayal. Aidan, who has been staying in the cabin while he recovers from horrific injuries sustained in Afghanistan stumbles upon Grace on a stormy night. Together with the neighbors dog, they share the cabin for the next five days and in each others arms find some healing for their damaged hearts. Five Days Grace is a sweet and easy to read contemporary romance. It doesn't really break any new ground but it delivers what those who read this genre expect. It's a satisfying and enjoyable book to read. OK...it does break some new ground...finally a contemporary romance with a military hero who isn't a Navy SEAL. Hooray for that. Many thanks to ePublishing Works and Netgalley for providing me with this ARC
