I'm not all that enamored with the narrative style of these books. It's first person giving the distinct impression that she is telling of past events and possibly being read from a journal which is referred to often in the narrative. Setting that aside, for what it is this book is a bit of a romp. It's a story of beastly faeries that feast on humans, vampires, those that hunt the fae...and the fae that hunt the hunters. It's a long way from perfect but if you can forgive the imperfections it's pretty good fun.
