Elizabeth Lowell books remind me a little of the Alistair Maclean books I read when I was a teenager. They are half-way decent fluff and a good way to kill some time, but I finished it half an hour ago and I've already forgotten the names of the protagonists and the antagonists. That might sound like a criticism or damning it with faint praise, but this is a good book. It's not perfect but it's entertaining and any book that entertains has served it's purpose.
